Great news. I have been told that my painting “The Footsie One Hundred” is now in the shortlist for The Guardian’s London Lives art competition – sponsored by Network Rail. From originally thousands of entries, then to two hundred and now down to just 22. This is very exciting. With some great pieces in the shortlist by some very talented artists, comptetition for the winner will be very stiff indeed but I remain optomistic!

The judges’ final 22 shortlisted entrants will be exhibiting their work at Bankside Gallery from 9 – 19 September 2010.
